This policy explains what data AVX Simulations ("we") collects when you use the AVX Sorter website and software, and how we use it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to sell and support the product.

1. What we collect

• Purchase data — when you buy, Stripe processes your payment and shares your email and order details with us. We never see or store your full card number.
• Licence data — your licence key, activation status, and the IP address used at sign-in are handled by our licensing provider (KeyAuth) so we can validate licences and prevent abuse.
• Email — we use your email to send your licence key and respond to support requests (via Resend / our mail provider).
• Live chat — if you accept cookies and use our chat widget, our provider (Crisp) stores your messages and a chat identifier so we can reply.
• Site analytics — privacy-friendly, aggregate visit statistics.

2. What we do NOT collect

The AVX Sorter desktop app works on your own PC. We do not upload your add-ons, files, or folder contents — your library never leaves your machine.

3. How we use it

To deliver your licence, validate it, provide updates and support, prevent fraud, and improve the product. We do not sell your data.

4. Third parties & sub-processors

We rely on Stripe (payments), KeyAuth (licensing), Resend (email), Cloudflare (hosting, storage & analytics), and Crisp (live chat). Each processes data only to provide their service.

5. Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site working. Non-essential cookies (live chat and analytics) are only set after you accept via our cookie banner. You can decline, and you can clear cookies in your browser at any time.

6. Retention & your rights

We keep purchase and licence records as long as needed for support, tax, and anti-fraud purposes. You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by emailing us — subject to records we must keep by law.
